Sergio Schwark

Sergio Schwark is the owner and principal of Sergio Schwark Architectural Design, a design firm that provides drafting and design services specializing in residential projects. Sergio brings extensive experience from working in architecture firms on upscale design work, plan check submittal, contractor hiring, client support and site/project management.

Sergio was born and raised in Brazil. After graduating in Civil Engineering and working as a project manager in a construction company in Porto Alegre, he travelled north to take graduate classes in project management at UC Berkeley and complete a study program in computer-aided design at San Francisco’s UC Berkeley Extension.

Since his immigration to the United States, Sergio has worked as a project manager at Architectural Development in San Francisco, Alan Wanzenberg Architect PC and Ronnette Riley Architect in New York City, and Tim Barber LTD in Los Angeles. His fifteen years of experience encompasses a wide range of architectural styles, including Mediterranean, Arts & Crafts, Edwardian/Victorian, English Country, French, Spanish and Modern.

Since May 2008, at his own firm, Sergio has designed, drafted and managed his own projects and collaborated with other field professionals on a variety of residential projects.
